The Cedar Rapids Fire Department offers firefighting, emergency medical services, and fire prevention to over 120,000 citizens. The fire department has prevention programs, special operations, and hazardous materials teams to meet the growing needs of the community. We strive to make our city a safer place to live, work, and visit.

The Cedar Rapids Fire Department and Cedar Rapids Police Department are co-sponsoring the 1st Annual Heroes' Safety Camp for children.  The camp will use fun hands-on activities and games to teach children valuable life safety education.

The Camp will be held Monday, July 9th through Friday, July 13th from 9 AM to Noon each day.  The cost to participate is $75 per child.  Camp will be held at the Cedar Rapids Police Department, 505 1st Street SW.  LEARN MORE
